The CyanoSource collection is Biofoundry-constructed gene knockout library for the model cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803. CyanoSource consists of a standardised set of barcoded MoClo-compatible plasmid vectors and single-gene deletion mutants generated by homologous recombination-mediated transformation. To date, we have generated 1,488 plasmids, available at the BCCM Culture Collection, and 585 partially segregated and segregated mutants, available on request.
